Hello and welcome! I am delighted to share my story and my art with you. My childhood revolved around my love of horses - every spare moment was spent with them or drawing them and they are still my most welcome commissions! Aged 12 I joined a weekly painting and potting group hosted by my great aunt for her friends. I spent many happy hours with them, painting and sculpting, and I continued to draw and paint throughout my school years.  I decided to follow horses rather than art to university and as part of my course, I spent time on a Californian ranch working with mustangs gathered from public land. These remarkable horses reignited my love of drawing and led to the start of commissioned work back in the UK. 

 

Life, family and more travel folIowed and in 2024 I left my home in the Oxfordshire countryside for the breathtaking beauty of the French Pyrenees, and a little town nestled therein. From here I offer wildlife art and animal portraiture in pastel pencil, for which I require one clear, high definition photograph, showing as much detail and personality as possible.
